Some time ago, in our laboratories, when asked “What colors can we create?”, the R&D manager replied, without hesitation: “All the colors of the universe!” In fact, why should we limit what we can shape to the boundaries of the “already seen”, when our imagination goes far beyond that?
Here, precisely from this ambitious and creative spark, a revolutionary project was born that redefines the very concept of industrial coloring: an intergalactic journey through unprecedented shades, created to arouse emotions and inspire the design of the future.
What does this mean? These are not simply standard formulas, but inspirations born for design. Not only that, in addition to the inspirations we propose through the new colors, you can propose your idea and we will create a personalized formula, tailored to your polymer and equipped with all the certifications you need.
Are you ready to discover the new colors of the Gaypa universe?
The concept: when science meets imagination
Pointing our gaze towards infinity means embracing unlimited possibilities and making innovation a permanent strength. To give shape to our spark, therefore, we drew inspiration from the spectacular images captured by NASA telescopes and the James Webb orbital observatory, which provided us with the answer we were looking for: our color palette, at first glance visionary, could also acquire scientific authority.
In fact, we at Gaypa have always managed to stand out precisely because we are able to help anyone who has come to us to imagine new, extravagant and winning ideas, visions that go “beyond borders”.
In this great journey through innovation, coloring and the universe, we wanted to involve the freshest minds of our multinational group. The project has become, in fact, an exceptional laboratory of experimentation for the young colorists of the Grafe Group, who have been able to give free rein to their creativity, testing materials and special effects to generate a simply memorable emotional impact and learning, in the same way, to translate the visions of designers and marketing into materials, such as pigments and resins.
Four collections to explore space

The cosmos is not a single monochromatic expanse. Looking at the sky in depth, the sensory stimuli and optical effects are incredibly varied, so much so that we are inspired by four distinct collections, each characterized by a specific masterbatch technology and application suggestions ranging from luxury packaging to automotive, consumer goods and medical.
Aurora Collection
Aurora Collection is inspired by the Northern Lights, spectacular phenomena in which solar particles collide with the Earth’s atmosphere creating dancing curtains of green, pink and violet light. Here the protagonists are masterbatches with opalescent and iridescent pearlescent effects, capable of evoking an absolutely magical fluidity.
Galaxy Collection
Galaxy Collection is a celebration of the immense celestial structures held together by gravity, rich in dust, gas and billions of stars. To reproduce the magnificence of the Milky Way, the technology of this line integrates glitter, specks and micro-sparkles that make the plastic shine with vibrant glimmers.
Exoplanet Collection
Exoplanet Collection is a tribute to the diversity of alien worlds outside our solar system, from molten lava planets to mystical lands that wander in deep darkness. The ultra-technological metallic look dominates here, combined with saturated solid color formulations and spectacular glow-in-the-dark effects.
Nebula Collection
The Nebula Collection is inspired by the gigantic interstellar clouds of gas and dust from which stars are born. The collection reinterprets this “cosmic fog” through matt effect finishes, soft-touch textures and evocative mineral-looks with a sandy and textured look. Each of these lines represents a unique sensory journey, ready to transform a simple plastic artifact into an object that tells a special story and captures the eye from the first moment.
The Five Glimmers of the Galaxy: The Official Palette
The first collection to make its official debut on the market is Galaxy Collection: a palette of five exclusive colors, formulated in total freedom, in an experimentation of materials, to ignite your desire for innovation.
Milky Way
Milky Way represents glimmers of light in the deepest night. The Milky Way is the galaxy in which we are immersed, our “home in the cosmos” in which the stars have always guided the path of humanity. This color is an invitation to hope: it reminds us that it is precisely in the darkest hour that the stars shine with greater intensity, just as the light of hope often peeps out in the darkest and most difficult moments.

Starry Blue
Starry Blue evokes the appearance of the first sunset stars, small bright dots that appear in the sky announcing a clear night. It represents a moment of peace and tranquility, as well as the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, captured at the exact moment when everything starts to slow down.

Stardust Yellow
Stardust Yellow is a vibrant shade that invites you to make a wish. This term combines the Latin roots of lack (de-) and star (sidus), literally meaning “lack of stars”. Consequently, this color symbolizes the act of pointing one’s gaze upwards, an intense drive towards what is missing and that pushes one to search for something to fill that void.

Ultra Violet
Ultra Violet is a magnetic look into tomorrow. Intense shades and metallic reflections directly recall the world of technology, a constantly evolving reality that allows us to dream of new spaces and opportunities. From the earliest historic space explorations to probes sent beyond the confines of the solar system, this color celebrates the innate human desire to discover what lurks “beyond.”

Cluster Red
Cluster Red is a dense, deep hue that evokes the most distant galaxies. Star clusters are dense groups of stars that interact with each other, inextricably united by the force of gravity to wander together in the vastness of the universe. Their presence gives a wonderful show, capable of staining the sky with light and inspiring nostalgic shades and completely unexpected color combinations.

The journey has just begun: the next milestones of 2026
The launch of these palettes will follow a precise orbit during 2026 and will involve the most important laboratories and fairs in Europe under the technical supervision of Lars Schulze, technical coordinator and head of color and material development of the group, and the marketing departments of Gaypa and GRAFE joint.
The first five colors of the Galaxy line will officially debut in Italy, proudly presented by Gaypa, at the highly anticipated PLAST fair. The physical presentation of plaques and samples will be accompanied by a web and social communication campaign, as well as a special online editorial in collaboration with the prestigious magazine PLASTIX, enriched by direct interviews with the young talents who formulated the colors.
The next stages will see intermediate and senior colorists develop the remaining collections (Aurora, Exoplanet and Nebula). We will move on to formulations with pigments strictly compliant with FDA regulations for food contact, up to the development on technical resins and biodegradable biopolymers applied to real bottles and complex samples. The culmination of this journey will take place in the autumn with the presentation of the subsequent lines by Grafe and with an exclusive final project in co-design with a special customer, aimed at creating an iconic and highly technological gadget for the Fakuma fair.
Do as we do, don’t set limits to your projects: the universe is infinite and our palettes are just as infinite.
